A. ䷀ ䷀ Work that you like, and is useful.
B. ䷀ ䷁ Work that you like, but is useless.
C. ䷁ ䷀ Work that you don’t like, but is useful.
D. ䷁ ䷁ Work that you don’t like, and is useless.

D = Life has no meaning
C = Meaning is found through mind
B = Meaning is found through heart
A = Level transcended.

Transcending implies that you only work on what you like, Not an easy feat to accomplish, and is often temporary (as in sabbaticals), because doing what you like is implied in work itself, so the choice is reduced to only two options:

A. ䷀ Work on what that is useful.
B. ䷁ Work on what that is pleasant.

Alas, at this time, transcendence is only a memory. These days I’ve been doing more ䷁ kind of work of the untranscended kind, because all client projects have a bit of ䷁, even if the client is wonderful you’ll most likely have to invoice and… let’s not get started.

Eventually A and B must meet, but I haven’t been there yet.

Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent
