I went to a job interview where they had asked for a certain physical device as a challenge, I was carrying it and when I arrived there was a long line. The line went through a creative agency, and I observed that people were carrying more items than I had. I asked, and there were three things which we were supposed to bring along, so I was missing two. I exited the line and asked in the agency if I could use a table to complete what I was missing, a friendly hipster creative enthusiastically directed me to a good space, and supported my efforts. At some point I was going to give up, and he brought out a ready made project which I could hand in as mine. I felt grateful and hyped, but I said "you know what? it's simply not worth it. I don't want to work for this company".
