I had two extraordinary exams because I failed Math and Communication. I decided I would do one first quickly, and then run towards the other one. Since I thought I could bullshit my way quicker in communication, I chose to do that one first.
The teacher was a kind man who looked like Robin Williams and was in no rush to get done. He wondered why each one of us had failed, and I knew in my case it was because I hadn't shown up for class. I saw the clock ticking and him not getting anywhere, so I waited for an adequate moment to interrupt him. I stood up and quietly told him "teacher, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have a math exam at this very moment, if you could tell me what task you will asign us, I'll finish it quickly and then run to my math exam".
The teacher was concerned "Oh, if that's the case, let me walk you to the class room where you will have the other exam, and I will tell you what to do along the way. We walked through the hallways of my former university as he explained some general context about communication, but I was eager for him to get to the task, so I tried pinning down his ideas: "Will the task be an essay? research? a quiz?" he looked at me annoyed and continued talking.
Finally, he pointed up towards a tall building and I noticed we had left the campus and we were on the street. He said: "The new is born from the old" and I squinted to try to understand what he meant, but I couldn't. "What do you mean?" I asked, "Look closely" he said, and when I looked at the building again I saw the lower floors and exterior were the shell of the old building, a modern building emerging from the inside. The streets were covered by a glass ceiling, which I understood to be pre-emptive measures against climate change. The teacher sensed I had understood and he let me go.
I ran towards the campus again, trying to find my maths classroom. I had passed the classroom on my way towards the communications exam, so I knew exactly where it was (where the cafeteria was in real life), but when I arrived that classroom was being remodelled by workers. I thought I might had confused this building with another one that is very similar, so I ran to the other building and found art students, also in ther extraordinary exam, painting canvasses.
I looked closely at their canvasses and they were paiting a human-like female pig, like peggy except that it didn't occur to me in the dream that she was Peggy. I looked for the model but she wasn't there, instead they were starting from an existing paiting. I noticed they weren't making a straight copy but adding their own to their copies.
Again I started running through the hallways looking for the classroom. I thought "fuck, why do I always do this, paying no attention during the semester and then catching up at extraordinaries" (this happened irl in highschool), then I tried remembering what was I supposed know about math for this exam and I came up blank: I hadn't studied at all. My run turned into a walk, it was hopeless, even if I found the classroom I'd fail because I hadn't studied.
